One of the tastiest foods I have eaten. Generally I avoid spicy food while travelling, this was worth the stop. Easy parking, clean premises, superb staff and delicious affordable food. Definitely stopping here again.

Out of all the Raj’s corners across newy I found the food here to be the most bland and all the curries were overloaded with tomato base. No real flavour or spice. Not even close to what good Indian food is supposed to be like. Meat Samosa tasted straight out of the freezer. The meat inside had a weird freezer taste to it. (Probably due to improper storage/unsealed packaging in freezers) Curries were possibly the most bland and weirdly tasting across all Indian takeaway shops across nsw. My Indian palate meant I left my plate of food half eaten couldn’t finish my meal.

My sister decided she wanted to try the Gluten Free Butter chicken with rice a cheesy naan bread from Raj’s Corner Glendale Store today Wednesday 6th December 2023 and she was very happy with her food and the pricing was great plus the girl serving us was friendly and polite which was so good, As my sister is profoundly deaf and can not talk she signed to me that she will be visiting again soon . 💜 Thank you Aimee

This is the best restaurant in Newcastle for Indian food, I am having always a good experience with the food and service from Raj’s corner. I prefer Glendale is the best among the Raj’s corner. The atmosphere is neat but needed bit more space but still it is perfect spot for food. I will suggest the chicken Biriyani is the best up there. If you want some good Lassi try here.

They said I wanted takeaway because I ordered Naan first or whatever silly reason they gave me for putting 3 curries in 1 takeaway box basically making a slush. Won’t be coming back, don’t recommend as their server wasn’t trained in asking simple dining questions.
